Die Hard F1 Fans, which owns one of the largest grand prix racing communities on Facebook,Twitter, Instagram and Google+, has been acquired by renowned Canadian Grand Prix travel and lifestyle media company GP Traveler Media.

The agreement will mark the next phase in the expansion of the social media page, which already has a significant presence on all major platforms.

Die Hard F1 Fans will continue to remain the leading source of Formula 1 news, photos, classic videos and memes, ensuring a complete package of content for racing fans around the world. In addition, the content will be bolstered by more news, features and travel guides from GP Traveler Media, As such, fans can now get all the information they need to attend a race right on their favorite social media site.

The brand name will be tweaked to Die Hard GP fans, incorporating the best elements from both parties.

Majority of the staff, spread across all time zones, will continue to work with the page following the acquisition.
